Our Greek vacation rental is located in the pictureque seaside town of Porto Rafti, an old fishing village on the eastern coast of Attica, famous for its excellent wine, local produce and crystal clear seas. Besides the seaside, mountains with impressive wooded areas and monasteries back Porto Rafti. 'Villa Athina', an elegant, air-conditioned, self-catering holiday house, is contemporarilly furnished with 4 bedrooms and recently up-graded with free wireless internet and central heating. The upper two floors open onto large L-shape balconies where you can soak up the sun, relax with a drink and enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains and to the sea. The house features a charming garden, secure gated parking and a large patio to enjoy your morning coffee and evening meals.

The location combines wonderful sunny weather, crystal clear seas and proximity to Athens and the new airport. Ideally located for visits to Athens, island hopping and trips to many fabulous ancient and historical places. Athens with Acropolis and museums is very easily reached using the new motorway 'attiki odos' by car, bus or the new metro, while the Athens Airport is just 8 Km from the house.

Day trips: Only 7 Km from the villa is Vravrona with the temple of Artemis and museum. The impressive temple of Poseidon in Sounio is about half an hour's drive (go in the evening to experience the amazing sunset), while Marathon, the monastery of Daphni, ancient Corinth, Olympia, Monemvassia, Mycenae, the wonderful ancient theatre at Epidaurus, Delphi and many more destinations of interest, offer fantastic day trips.

From Lavrio, and/or Rafina nearby or from the main port of Piraeus, that has now a direct metro link from Koropi or via the airport, you can take the ferry for a day visit (or stay for a night or two) to many Greek islands.

Our elegant Greek villa is owner-managed and offered for rent as self-catering. It is furnished with style, air-conditioned, centrally heated and fully equipped (including wireless internet) for perfect beach holidays in Greece. All rooms are double-glazed and there are large balconies with panoramic views of the mountains and sea. Villa Athina sleeps a maximum of 8 people but with the recent addition of an adjoining one bedroom apartment, we offer flexible accommodation for groups of 2-3, 4-9 and up to a maximum of 12.

We are located about one kilometre from one of the best beaches in Attica and there is also a choice of many more beaches to explore along the beautiful coastal area of Porto Rafti. On the sea front there are many fish tavernas, clubs, open air cinemas, restaurants, childrens' playgrounds and a swimming pool. All amenities are within 5 minutes drive, while a mini market, general small store and a traditional taverna are only a small stroll from our house.
